Taiwan: The biggest brands you've never heard of......



TAIPEI, Taiwan (LEO) -- The fastest growing names in the electronics world are companies few consumers know.
But if you have computers or phones by Apple, Dell, IBM or HP, chances are you already have an Acer, Asus, HTC or other electronics product in hand from Taiwan.

Now these faceless giants are building brand names of their own and grabbing a bigger slice of the global retail action. For example, Asus -- once the world's biggest supplier of computer motherboards -- now has 20 percent of the world's laptop market thanks to its low-priced netbook line. CNN's Andrew Stevens reports.
